As an emergency medicine physician, I know how important it is for people I serve to have access to quality, affordable health care. I will always fight to lower costs for families, protect Medicare for seniors, and find bipartisan solutions that will improve our nation’s health care system for all.

Immigrants are making tremendous contributions to our economy and military here in our region. As the son of immigrants, I’ve worked across party lines for bipartisan immigration solutions that secure our border, protect workers and business, and include an earned pathway to citizenship for families and Dreamers who are working and contributing to our country.

Creating good-paying jobs and boosting our economic growth guide my work in Congress. As a physician, I’ve taken a pragmatic approach to grow our economy and work in a bipartisan way to lower costs, create jobs, and help small business owners succeed.

As a doctor, I have always put people above partisanship and solutions above ideology. I have made it a top priority to work with anyone who has a good idea, Republican or Democrat, to find pragmatic solutions to the challenges facing my constituents and our nation.

I will always stand up for our local seniors, from protecting crucial programs like Social Security and Medicare to bringing down health care costs and prescription drugs. We have an obligation to take care of them and ensure they receive the benefits they have earned and planned on in their golden years.

Veterans in our communities and all across the United States have served our country honorably and deserve our unwavering support. While we can never fully repay our veterans for their service to our nation, we have an obligation to work together as Democrats and Republicans to ensure they have access to the high-quality care and receive benefits they have earned and deserve.
