Palm Desert, CA – Today, U.S. Representatives Dr. Raul Ruiz (D-CA), Mike Kelly (R-PA), Mariannette Miller-Meeks, M.D. (R-IA), and Gwen Moore (D-WI) introduced the Treat and Reduce Obesity Act (TROA), bipartisan legislation to combat the obesity crisis in the United States by providing regular screenings.
Washington, D.C. – Congressman Dr. Raul Ruiz (CA-25) today reaffirmed his opposition to the so-called “Big, Beautiful Bill,” voting NO on the final version passed out of the Senate and returning to the House for approval. Congressman Ruiz previously voted NO on the original House version, citing many of the same concerns.

“The Supreme Court’s decision to limit the authority of federal district courts to issue nationwide injunctions is a reckless blow to our system of checks and balances. But let me be clear: the fight to protect birthright citizenship is far from over.

Kennedy Jr. over his role in leading the Make American Health Again (MAHA) Commission and the commission’s release of a report riddled with inaccuracies and misinformation.

Washington, D.C. - The Antiquities Act of 1906, signed into law by President Theodore Roosevelt, was designed to protect areas of cultural, historical, and scientific significance. Its purpose is to preserve these vital resources for the public and for future generations.
The Trump Administration’s efforts to undermine this law will set a dangerous precedent. Rolling back protections not only disregards the intent of the Antiquities Act, it puts at risk the very lands and resources this law was meant to safeguard.
