Congressman Raul Ruiz, M.D. Welcomes New District Director Stella Jimenez
Palm Desert, CA – Today, Congressman Raul Ruiz, M.D. (CA-36) welcomed Stella Jimenez to serve as district director in his Palm Desert Office for California's 36th Congressional District. Most recently, Jimenez served as district director for the 56th Assembly District under the leadership of Assemblymember Eduardo Garcia.
"I am excited to welcome Stella Jimenez to serve as district director for California's 36th Congressional District," said Dr. Ruiz. "Her exceptional experience, passion for public policy, and commitment to constituent services will no doubt serve the families in our communities well."
Jimenez brings over ten years of experience working with small businesses, governmental entities, educators, and non-governmental organizations with a specialty in public policy. She has an extensive track record serving Riverside and Imperial Counties.
Born and raised in the City of Torrance, Jimenez has resided in Imperial County since 2006. She attended United College of Business in the City of Downey, where she majored in Business Administration.
Jimenez currently serves on the Board of Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest, Vice President for MANA de Imperial Valley, and President for WomanHaven, a Center for Family Solutions. She also serves on the Imperial Valley Southern Border Committee.
