Dr. Ruiz Urges Participation in the 2020 Census
The September 30th deadline to fill out the 2020 Census is just around the corner. Right now, our district is falling behind. Only 57.8% of CA-36 has responded to the Census--that's 10% less than the statewide self-response rate for California!
A new Congressional report has revealed just what's at stake if we don't have a complete and accurate Census count for our district. Read more here.
As we face our current public health and economic crisis, it is very important for our community to secure the funding we need for health care systems, schools, community centers, job programs, and more.
I encourage everyone to respond to the Census right away by filling out the safe and secure Census form at my2020census.gov or by calling 844-330-2020! You will only be asked 12 questions and you will not be asked about citizenship status.
Shape our community's future and respond today.
Sincerely,
Raul Ruiz, M.D.
Member of Congress
