Dear Friends,
On Veterans Day, we honor our veterans for their service and sacrifice to our nation. Today, I invite you to join me in celebrating those who have put their lives on the line so that we may continue living safely and freely here at home.
Celebrating Veterans Day
In celebration of today, I stopped by the Joslyn Center in Palm Desert to pay special tribute to a local veteran. John Curran, a World War II Army veteran, celebrated his 105th birthday today. I am honored to have been part of this celebration of his incredible life and service to our nation.
On Veterans Day, we must remember to honor all of our servicemembers' sacrifices – not just today, not just tomorrow, but each and every day we are able to live our lives freely because of their service.
