Congressman Ruiz Begins Accepting Spring 2024 Internship Applications

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Raul Ruiz, M.D. (CA-25) released the following statement to announce the opening of the application period for Spring 2024 Internships in his Indio, Hemet, El Centro, and Washington, D.C. offices.

“I am pleased to announce that internship opportunities for college students are available in my congressional offices in Indio, Hemet, El Centro, and Washington, D.C. for the Spring of 2024. The semester-long internship is an opportunity for students to gain real work experience in the United States Congress. Interns will contribute to legislative and communications projects that will further their knowledge of the legislative process and the concerns of everyday Americans in my district. This internship program is a great way for young professionals interested in government, the legislative workings of Congress, and public service to get involved. All office interns will be compensated via a monthly stipend.”

Students interested in taking advantage of our internship opportunities are asked to provide a cover letter expressing interest and their preferred start date, a one-page resume, a writing sample, and 3 professional references. Applications for the Spring 2024 term are due by December 29th at 11:59 p.m. ET.
