Veterans University

VETERANS UNIVERSITY 2026 HAS BEEN POSTPONED due to Congress remaining in Washington, D.C. over the weekend to vote on the Department of Homeland Security budget. We truly regret any disruption this change may cause.
The Congressman is remaining in Washington, D.C. to fight for the thousands of federal workers across the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) — including TSA agents, FEMA employees, and Coast Guard personnel — affected by the ongoing 42-day partial shutdown.
Veterans University remains a priority for our office, and we are committed to ensuring this event delivers the meaningful resources and support our veteran community deserves. New event dates will be announced shortly.

Veterans University 2026
Veterans University is for veterans, service members, their families, and anyone in our community interested in learning about how to improve the lives of veterans in a welcoming classroom environment.
Veterans University is an event covering a myriad of topics including: health care and disability benefits, exposure to burn pits, mental health, female veteran-specific topics, home ownership, senior-specific topics, and employment resources for veterans.
Presenters will provide a broad overview on each topic, followed by practical and detailed information on how to access the benefits described. Participants will also receive contact information they can utilize should they have difficulty accessing benefits on their own. There will also be a veterans' resource expo with many local organizations and agencies that serve veterans.
