The organization held a clinic for east valley workers Wednesday but some are saying more work needs to be done to protect our essential workers.

In a letter to the CVS Health CEO Larry Merlo, Dr. Ruiz called on the retail pharmacy to prioritize high-risk, underserved communities in its vaccine administration plans.

Local Congressman Dr. Raul Ruiz is urging retail pharmacies to join the fight for health equity when it comes to coronavirus vaccinations.

Ruiz wrote a letter to the CEO of CVS Health calling on the pharmacy giant to prioritize high-risk, underserved communities in its vaccine administration plans.

Washington, DC – Today, Representative Raul Ruiz, M.D. (CA-36) announced the introduction of legislation to take more than 2,500 acres of land in the San Jacinto Mountains into trust for the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians. This legislation would allow the tribe to further their conservation efforts and practice consistent forest management.
