Dear Friends,

Every day, our community is working together to prevent the spread of COVID-19. As we continue to fight this pandemic, I am also focused on the financial security of families, workers, businesses and our local economy.

I hosted representatives from the House Small Business Committee and our local Small Business Administration Satellite Office to answer your questions about resources available to small businesses. Click on the image above to watch the question and answer session.

Resources for Small Business Owners
We received a lot of questions on how to navigate loans and resources through the Small Business Administration. Here is what you need to know:
  • You can apply for financial support through the SBA's Paycheck Protection Program and Emergency Economic Injury and Disaster Loan Grants.
  • You can find a full guide on resources made available by the SBA here.
  • For answers to your questions about how the Paycheck Protection Program works, click here.
  • For more information, call the SBA Disaster Assistance Customer Service Center at 1-800-659-2955 or e-mail disastercustomerservice@sba.gov.

If you have any additional questions on the support made available by the CARES Act, visit my website for helpful resource guides or contact my office at (760) 424-888. As always, head to CDC.gov for the latest on the coronavirus.

Sincerely,
