To help local stakeholders better prepare for upcoming community projects submissions, my office is hosting a virtual informational webinar that will provide an overview of how the process works and what organizations should know before submitting a request.

My officer will cover an explanation of Community Project Funding, how projects are evaluated, and how requests move through the congressional appropriations process. We’ll discuss common eligibility considerations, documentation, and important deadlines. The session will also outline best practices for preparing a competitive proposal that reflects clear community benefit and strong local support.

This webinar is intended for local governments, public agencies, nonprofit organizations, and community-based partners that are exploring federal funding opportunities for infrastructure, public safety, health, education, environmental, housing, or other community-serving projects.
