Dr. Ruiz Calls Out IRS on Stimulus Check Delays

I know how uncertain these times are. I have heard from many in our community, who after nearly four months, still have not received their Economic Impact Payment from the IRS. That is not right and unacceptable.

I am outraged and share your frustrations. That's why I'm demanding that the IRS expedite these late and past due stimulus checks right away.

Demanding Answers

This week, I called on the IRS to take action for families who have remained in the dark for months waiting to receive the aid promised to them. You can read my letter to IRS Commissioner Rettig here.

I'll keep up this fight until the American people finally receive the critical relief that the CARES Act was designed to provide.
