As our nation continues to address the COVID-19 outbreak, I am working hard to help you stay informed so that you can better protect your health. Here's an update on this week:

California's Stay at Home Order

To protect our state's health and safety, Governor Newsom announced an executive order for California residents to stay at home except as needed. This order will be in effect until further notice.

  • What will remain open? Essential services such as gas stations, pharmacies, grocery stores, banks, and laundromats will stay open.
  • What will be closed? Dine in restaurants, bars, entertainment venues, gyms and fitness centers, and large events.

You can find out more here.

New Local Resources

On Thursday, representatives from Eisenhower Health and Desert Regional Health Center joined me for a telephone town hall to answer your questions about the impact of the coronavirus on our community's health and economy.
