Dr. Ruiz's Office Helps Veteran Get $17,000 in Disability Benefits

Sara Louise Carrasco, a veteran from Cathedral City, had received none of the health care benefits that she deserved from the VA -- despite her military service. My office helped Sara navigate the process, and after a few months, the VA approved her application. Sara received back pay of more than $17,000, and she now receives more than $1,300 from the VA every month.

"I want to thank everyone from the office that helped me out along the way," Sara said. "I am very thankful that the Congressman's office helped me."
