Highlights from Serving the 36th District
Since 2013, I have worked tirelessly to create jobs, support our law enforcement officers and first responders, and connect veterans, seniors, and all of my constituents with the services and government programs they need. Here are some of the highlights from my advocacy for constituents so far:
$8,565,962 in federal grants for local businesses and government agencies.
$2,443,193 in federal grants for local police and fire departments.
$69 million in loans to local businesses from our Small Business Administration satellite office, which I helped bring to the Coachella Valley in 2017.
82,155 more jobs in Riverside County since I joined Congress in 2013.
$5,173,301 directly to constituents in Social Security benefits, veterans’ services, and tax assistance.
2,039 cases closed helping constituents with the Veterans Administration, Social Security, Medicare, and the IRS.
