Making Government Work for You

Lita Bowman, a World War Two veteran and Pearl Harbor survivor, was denied by the VA when she applied for a scooter to help her overcome mobility challenges. My office helped her apply again, and this time, the VA awarded her the scooter. I had the high honor of presenting Ms. Bowman with the scooter at my district office.

"Dr. Ruiz was very kind, courteous, and caring," Lita said. "He helped make my life easier and brought back my smile by quickly and quietly solving my problems (mobility and independence), which I treasure most."

If you are a resident of the 36th district and are having issues with a federal agency, my office is here to cut through the red tape and get you the benefits you deserve. If you have a question about a federal agency or program, please contact my district office at 760-424-8888. We're here to help!
