Congressman Dr. Ruiz Opens Fall 2023 Internship Applications

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Raul Ruiz, M.D. (CA-25) released the following statement to announce the opening of the Fall 2023 Internship applications.

“I am pleased to announce internship opportunities for college students are available in my congressional offices for the Fall of 2023. The semester long internship is an opportunity for students to gain real work experience in the United States Congress. Through my Washington, D.C. and District offices, Interns are able to focus on various legislative and communications projects that will further their knowledge of the legislative process and the concerns of everyday Americans in my district. This internship program is a great way for young professionals interested in government, the legislative workings of Congress and public service to get involved. Both, Washington, D.C. and District office interns will be compensated via a monthly stipend.

“Students interested in taking advantage of our internship opportunities are asked to provide a cover letter expressing interest and the preferred session date, plus one-page resume, and a writing sample. Applications for the Fall 2023 term are due by August 7^st at 11:59pm ET.”
