Congressman Raul Ruiz Honors Local Hero, Richard Ramirez, on the House Floor

Washington D.C. – Today,  Congressman Dr. Raul Ruiz (CA-25) honored Mr. Richard Ramirez of Coachella Valley High School on the House Floor.

“It was an honor to share the life and legacy of Mr. Richard Ramirez on the House floor today,” said Congressman Dr. Raul Ruiz, “The entire Coachella Valley community will remember Mr. Ramirez for his over 40 years of work as the athletic director at Coachella Valley High School.

“Mr. Ramirez is the definition of a local hero,”  continuedCongressman Dr. Raul Ruiz. “He was coach and mentor who always taught our young people to remember their roots, to be proud of their community, and to always serve others.”
