Dr. Ruiz Issues Statement Observing Veterans Day

Palm Springs, CA – Today, Dr. Raul Ruiz (D-Palm Desert) issued the following statement in observance of Veterans Day. Dr. Ruiz is a member of the House Committee on Veterans Affairs. He is also a member of the Congressional Veterans Jobs Caucus.

“Today, we honor the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Services. While we can never fully repay our veterans for their service to our nation, we have a covenant to care for them and to ensure they have access to the benefits they have earned.

“It is a privilege to advocate for the veterans in the Coachella Valley and across the country. We remain the greatest nation in the world because of the men and women who have served.

“Thank you to every veteran in my district and across the country who has served this great nation. This Veterans Day, let us remember the sacrifices of our service members and their families, and show them our gratitude and respect every single day.”
