Dr. Ruiz Recognizes the 11th Anniversary of DACA

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Raul Ruiz, M.D. (CA-25) released the following statement to recognize the 11th Anniversary of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA):

“Today marks the 11th anniversary of President Obama and then-Vice President Biden’s DACA program that has allowed young people to live, go to school, and go to work in the only country they’ve been privileged to call home.

“Dreamers are hardworking individuals who embody the American Dream and make incredible contributions to our economy. I will continue to advocate for a permanent solution for Dreamers to protect the remarkable young people who only know America as their home.”
