Dr. Ruiz Sworn in to the 114th Congress

WASHINGTON, DC - Today, Dr. Raul Ruiz (D-Palm Desert) was officially sworn in to the United States House of Representatives as a Member of the 114th Congress representing California’s 36th Congressional District.

“In this Congress, I will continue to put the people I represent first in every decision I make,” said Dr. Ruiz. “I am grateful and humbled that the people of my community have entrusted me with this great honor and responsibility, and I will work every day to improve the lives of the people I serve. Over the next two years our nation will face many challenges and I will work with members of both political parties to find pragmatic, sensible solutions to meet our nation’s most pressing needs.”
