Dr. Ruiz to Unveil Winner of Congressional Art Competition

Palm Desert, CA – On Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 5:00PM PT, Dr. Raul Ruiz (CA-36) will be unveiling the winner of the Fourth Annual Congressional Art Competition. Over 60 students from all over the Coachella Valley, San Jacinto, Hemet and Blythe participated in this year’s art competition. All artwork will be displayed at a special showcase at the Marks Art Center at College of the Desert. The First Place winner’s artwork will hang at the U.S Capitol in Washington D.C.

Dr. Ruiz will hold a special reception for all participants and their families. This event is open to the public.
